Discussion at the York Theatre in New York with Internationally acclaimed artist, Sonja Griffin Evans, the Gullah cultural heritage artist commissioned to create the image featured in the Broadway-Bound musical production "Welcome to the Big Dipper". Ms. Evans is regularly featured in projects documenting African-American history, and her pieces reside in esteemed galleries and collections (www.sonjagriffinevans.com). Moderated by Greta Berman, former Art History professor at The Julliard School. paint the official image for the new Broadway- Bound musical ‘Welcome to the Big Dipper’. The composer, Jimmy Roberts, previously wrote I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, the second-longest-running Off-Broadway musical in history.
